Sensitive personal information: We collect information that may be considered sensitive, such as your county of citizenship, gender, social security number, driver’s license number, or other medical or financial information when you provide it to us as necessary to provide our services and from public records.

Your payment information: Billing name, address, and credit card or other payment information. We do not store any credit card numbers or information provided to us.

Other information: Social media profiles, LinkedIn URLs, custom profiles and any other information about you that you may voluntarily provide or any information about you that may be publicly available.

 

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use your personal information for the following purposes, to: 

Communicate with you; Verify your identity to prevent fraud in compliance with applicable law; Provide you with services we are engaged with you or your company to perform; Manage your work and our customer relationship; and perform billing for our services.  

We do not provide any of your personal information to third parties without your specific consent to do so.

SMS/TEXTING TERMS & CONDITIONS

By opting into SMS from a web form or other medium, you are agreeing to receive SMS mesagges from Muchortow + Paperd Advisors, LLC. This includes text messages for appointment scheduling, billing information and reminders, and may include additional questions regarding the services our company is performing for you. Messages may include updates on the status of work and services being provided to you, request for additional information necessary to complete the services we are providing or to ask or answer questions as part of the services Muchortow + Paperd Advisors are performing for you.

We obtain consent to send you conversational text messages through verbal confirmation either over the phone or in face-to-face meetings. 

We do not use text messages for marketing/promotional purposes for out clients. Text messages may be sent to provide a status update on services we are performing for you or to request additional information to complete services we are engaged to perform for you.

We do not provide phone number or mobile/SMS information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

We do not pass any individual's consent to receive SMS messages from Muchortow + Paperd Advisors to any third party.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Children: The Site is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13, though we may collect information on individuals under 13 in limited circumstance, we do not collect this information from these individuals directly, but instead we collect most of this information from you in connection with providing you services. Specifically, we (i) collect full the full name of an individual under 13 when wealth management accounts are opened for the benefit of said individual, (ii) collect information to confirm dependents in the provision of our income tax services, and (iii) may access information about individuals under 13 when we do an audit, such as information about said individuals who are beneficiaries of your employee benefits or accounts and that receive services under your health plan.
